Scope of Work: Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, ensuring alignment with FCH clinical standards., • Conduct detailed medical assessments, including physical exams, history reviews, and diagnostic evaluations., • Perform minor procedures such as laceration repair and incision & drainage (I&D)., • Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications while monitoring for side effects and interactions., • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate lifesaving interventions., • Manage chronic medical conditions to promote stability and prevent complications., • Collaborate with mental health professionals to support integrated care for psychiatric conditions., • Promote preventive care, health education, and communicable disease mitigation., • Consult with medical leadership and contribute to clinical protocol development., • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation of all patient encounters., • Follow all security and safety protocols within the correctional environment., • Maintain professionalism, ethical conduct, and confidentiality at all times., • Participate in ongoing professional development and required meetings., • Perform other duties as assigned to support FCH’s mission and values. Minimum Qualifications • Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or completion of an accredited PA program., • At least one year of experience as a licensed and certified APP. Required Certifications & Licenses • Current NP or PA licensure in the State of Georgia., • Current DEA registration., • BLS Certification (required by first day of work). Preferred Qualifications • Two or more years of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or correctional healthcare., • Board certification in a relevant specialty.
