Job Description Mindful Care is seeking an experienced Billing Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. Candidates must have a minimum of one year prior experience to be considered. This position is responsible for assisting with medical billing workflows, claim submissions, payment postings, account reconciliations, and insurance follow-up to ensure timely and accurate revenue capture. The Billing Assistant will work closely with billers, coders, and other RCM team members to maintain efficient billing processes and exceptional customer service standards. Responsibilities: Claims Submission & Processing * Prepare, review, and submit both electronic and paper claims to insurance carriers. * Monitor claim statuses and follow up on unpaid, denied, or delayed claims. * Run and analyze reports on denied, locked, and unlocked claims to support issue resolution. * Escalate complex billing issues to senior team members as needed.
