Here’s how this job plays a role: • Pedalheads Camp Managers are responsible for managing all activities at their respective camps, • Ballard - Ballard Elks Lodge (Bike), • Bothell - UW Bothell (Discovery Hall) (Bike), • Bellevue College - Parking Lot 3A (Bike & Future Newbees!), • Capitol Hill - Seattle Amistad School (Bike), • Crossroads - Unity of Bellevue (Bike), • Columbia City - John Muir Elementary School (Bike), • Edmonds - Frances Andersen Center (Bike), • Crown Hill - Whitman Middle School (Bike & Future Newbees!), • Green Lake - Green Lake Elementary School (Bike & Trail), • Issaquah - Klahanie Park Soccer Fields (Bike), • Juanita - Bastyr University AM ONLY (Bike), • Juanita - Bastyr University (Trail), • Kirkland (Short Camp! June 22 - July 31) (Bike), • Madrona - St Therese School (Bike), • Sand Point - Sand Point Elementary School (Bike), • Mercer Island - Location TBD (Bike), • Mercer Island - Luther Burbank Park (Trail), • Mill Creek - Advent Lutheran Church (AM ONLY) (Bike), • Newport - 12635 SE 56th St (AM ONLY) (Bike), • Redmond - King County's Marymoor Park (Bike, Future Newbee, Trail), • Renton - Lord of Life Church SHORT CAMP! June 22 - July 10 (Bike), • Sammamish - Eastside Catholic School & Pine Lake Covenant Church SHORT CAMP (Bike), • Seward Park - Graham Hill Elementary School (Bike &FutureNewbee!), • Shoreline (Location TBD) Bike!, • Queen Anne - North Queen Anne School (Bike), • Wedgwood - Wedgwood Elementary School (Bike & Future Newbee!), • West Seattle - South Seattle College (Bike, Future Newbee, Trail), • Wes Seattle Short Camp - Schmitz Park Elementary (June 22 - July 17 & August 10-21) Bike, • Woodinville - Bear Creek United Methodist Church (AM ONLY!) (Bike) WAGE: • Bike Camps$23.00- $27.00/hour, • Trail Camps $22.00 - $26.00 /hour, • *Paid training! What you’d be responsible for: • Program Management- Ensure that program delivery and safety standards are maintained, and that every participant has a positive and rewarding experience at Pedalheads. This will require lots of hands-on involvement in teaching the kids, • Human Resources/Employee Relations- manage Camp Supervisors, Instructors, and Volunteers, mentoring and motivating your team, • Customer Service- Be willing to go the extra mile to engage customers and provide excellent customer service., • Administration- Assist with on-camp registration and processing payments for product sales. Skills, knowledge and experience Here are some of the skills/ specifics and experience that are important for this role: • Applicants are required to be over 18 years old before the first day of camp, • We are looking for people with experience managing, coaching, or supervising youths ages 13 through 24, preferably in a camp or sport environment., • Ideal candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic., • They will be dynamic leaders who bring out the best in their teams through mentorship, motivation, and hands-on leadership., • Hold or willing to get a current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificate, • Criminal record check required for ages 18+, • You have access to a bike and helmet and are able to ride a bike proficiently.
