Job Description Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the Coordinator of Arts Education Performances is to support and assist in the development and delivery of high-quality in-person Arts Education Performances. This position will work in direct support of the Senior Manager, Programming & Performances, and in collaboration with all members of the Arts Education team to effectively support the implementation of the Arts Education performances with a concentration on, but not limited to, student performances, SchoolTime sales and logistics, and client events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Subject to the policies and management direction established by the Vice President of Arts Education, the duties of the Coordinator, Arts Education Performances shall include, but are not limited to:, • Coordinate SchoolTime performance series reservations, including all Salesforce database management, invoicing, and general correspondence to ensure a smooth customer service experience for schools and districts., • In partnership with the Senior Manager, Programming and Performances, serve as AED liaison with Guest Services staff and managers during SchoolTime Performances. This includes confirming school reservations, providing ticketing information to the Guest Services Team, greeting all schools on the day of performance, and working with the team to troubleshoot potential issues., • Assist with the creation of the Teacher Resource Guide with the Creative Practice team, including participating in curriculum writer interviews and meetings, managing communication logistics regarding deadlines, proofreading, and guide dissemination., • Assist with the creation of four installation projects aligned with the SchoolTime season to encourage further engagement by K-12 audiences prior to or following the performance experience., • Maintain Artsvision calendaring database and event document generation for smaller events and internal meetings., • In collaboration with the Manager of Sales & Outreach, organize and archive media recordings for all student shares, including some light video editing work., • Advance and execute smaller Arts Ed recitals and select virtual events with direction from the Senior Manager, Programming, and Performances., • Assist Senior Manager, Programming and Performances in the preparation and execution of large-scale culminating events, including but not limited to tracking RSVPs, expenses, technical needs, deadlines, and Salesforce data., • As needed, manage hospitality for Performances and AED events in conjunction with the supervisor., • Create and generate letters of agreement for all Performance area events, including the Artist Development Program, Masterclasses, and other events as assigned., • Reconciling and submitting weekly payroll for all Performance area events., • Participate in departmental activities, conferences, and conventions with the Manager, Outreach, and Sales on an as-needed basis. ● Minimum 3 years of working experience in Theater, a related field, or transferable work experience (arts education, applied theater, theater for young audiences, theater management, etc.) ● BA or BFA in the Arts and/or in hospitality, communications, public relations, arts education, or commensurate experience. ● Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail ● Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and team environment ● Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate grace under pressure ● Strong interpersonal skills and successful experience working and interacting with diverse populations of students, faculty, and staff ● Strong computer skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs ● Present a professional demeanor that appropriately represents the mission and values of NJPAC. ● Must pass a pre-employment background investigation, including but not limited to employment history and criminal background check Preferred Qualifications ● Background in Theater Management, Stage Management, or Company Management ● Experience with Salesforce, and/or Arts Vision ● Experience and/or coursework in the performing arts, including music, theater, dance, and/or other arts-related field. ● Spanish or Portuguese fluency a plus

Job DescriptionThe Actors Fund Home, an assisted living, skilled nursing, accredited dementia care and sub-acute rehabilitation center located in Englewood, NJ, and a recipient of a CMS Five Star Rating seeks a Part Time Unit Secretary to perform clerical and secretarial day to day duties for the Nursing department and maintain medical records. The shift requirement for this position is 8:30am - 5:00pm Saturday and 5pm - 9pm Sunday. JOB DUTIES • Screen and direct all incoming persons and telephone calls promptly and accurately answers routine telephone inquiries., • Ensure that the call bell system is answered promptly., • Assist Nursing department in coordinating re-admissions for the Nursing Home by asking hospital/discharging facility for medical records; circulate records to Nursing Supervisor and Pre-Admission group., • Assemble charts for resident admissions and re-admissions; keep charts organized., • Responsible for purchasing and maintaining par levels of medical supplies for the Nursing department and for the processing of invoices; maintains budget for central supply., • Prepare paperwork when 911 is called for a resident; and assists the nurse with any other necessary emergency protocols., • Ensure all discharged charts contain necessary signatures from the interdisciplinary care team, • Ensure information is as outlined by current Nursing Home guidelines, is included., • Make sure discharged charts are completed, and then scan them to electronic records system., • Assist nursing with scheduling of x-ray procedures, lab pickups and scheduling of doctor appointments for residents., • A high school diploma or equivalency certification required., • At least 3 years of experience working in a healthcare facility; long term care experience preferred., • Proficient in Microsoft Office., • Excellent organizational skills., • Types at least 40wpm., • Possess effective interpersonal skills in dealing with residents, co- workers, families and various health professionals., • Adaptable to change and able to deal with emergencies., • Ability to work beyond normal scheduled hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary., • Must be able to lift, move, and carry supplies up to 25lbs., • Frequently pushes, twists, stoops, bends, climbs stairs, reaches at above or below shoulder height., • Have an understanding of, affection for, and a desire to work with the aging. Participate in monthly safety drills., • Use positive group management techniques. Anticipate and deal with behavior problems in accordance with YMCA’s Discipline and Expulsion Policy., • Build professional relationships with children, their families and school personnel., • Represent the YMCA in a positive manner in all interactions, including participants and their families, and school personnel. Function as a positive role model and set a positive example through behavior., • Maintain a clean and sanitary program environment by ensuring supplies, equipment and tables are cleaned before and after snack or activities. Assist with snack set up/clean up. Ensure children wash their hands before snack. Report any maintenance issues, or supply and equipment needs to the Site Supervisor., • Ensure the health and comfort of all children is maintained by providing attentive and hygienic care for children if they soil themselves, including changing soiled underwear or disposable training pants, including regular diaper changes as needed, ensuring cleanliness, following proper diaper-changing techniques to maintain the child’s health and comfort. Follow YMCA protocols for changing soiled underwear and disposable training pants., • Adhere to sanitation and health guidelines as required by the licensing or authorizing agency (ies) and Metro Y policies and procedures., • Promote Y Programs and Camps to families. Assist with planning and implementation of special events, including Annual Campaign., • Attend all YMCA training and meetings as requested. Maintain certifications necessary for the position throughout the program., • High School Diploma, college credits/degree in Education preferred., • Basic understanding of youth development principles., • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communication with all levels including staff, parents and school staff., • Ability to problem solve and take initiative that adhere to the purpose, mission and goals of the YMCA., • Ability to relate to children and develop professional, positive relationships with youth., • 1-3 year’s experience leading group activities., • Ability to work as part of a team, as a role model and take initiative to identify potential risk factors and take measures to reduce them., • First-Aid, CPR and AED certification may be required.
