American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Long Beach, California. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, • Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology department, • Care for patients across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, • Perform a range of procedures including angiography, angioplasty, laser-assisted procedures, chemoembolization, stent placement, and ERCP, • Use Omnicell medication system and electronic documentation, • Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, • Call required 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month, • Weekend coverage every third weekend, • Block scheduling is provided, • Floating within the hospital is required based on census and clinical experience, • Primary responsibilities include scrub and circulate during special procedures, maintain sterile field, and assist in a variety of interventional radiology procedures, • EPIC training is provided during orientation, • Modules must be completed pre-start and during orientation, • Scrubs are provided, • All candidates may be required to float in rotation with facility staff, only within their expertise, • First-time travelers will be considered only if they meet experience requirements, • Holiday and weekend coverage is required per schedule, • No previous permanent staff are eligible for this position, • RTO requests must be submitted during application and cannot exceed 5 days, • Local candidates will be considered at a lower rate\n \n Requirements\n, • Current ARRT R, ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCIS certifications are required, • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Interventional Radiology with travel experience required, • CA license must be in hand for consideration; license required if applicable, • Strong skills in scrub procedures, circulating cases, laser-assisted procedures, vascular closure systems, and equipment set up, • Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and perform advanced interventions such as adrenal angiography, selective visceral angiography, renal artery stent placement, and uterine arterial embolization, • Proficiency with electronic documentation is required\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
