This healthcare job offers excellent professional growth, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic urban setting known for its dining, parks, and welcoming atmosphere. • Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN), • Location: Passaic, New Jersey (07055) – Northern NJ healthcare jobs, • Setting: Surgical Services – Operating Room, • Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/15/2026), • Shift: 8-hour days, Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), • Hours per Week: 40, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1750-$1870, • Call: Required (No exceptions), • Open-heart experience: Required, • Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey, • Current BLS (AHA) certification, • Current ACLS (AHA) certification (within 30 days of hire), • Current PALS (AHA) certification (within 30 days of hire), • Minimum 1 year of perioperative (OR) nursing experience or on-the-job training, • Open-heart surgical experience required, • Pre/Post Op experience, • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred, • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, • Provide direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults, • Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists in the operating room, • Supervise and guide OR Technicians and other healthcare personnel, maintaining professional nursing standards, • Ensure efficient patient flow, unit maintenance, and organization in surgical services, • Comply with hospital and unit policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, • Participate in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-service training, • Serve as a resource for other nursing and clinical staff Planet Healthcare Job ID #435918.
