Job Description The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, seeks a Video Producer / Video Editor to play a key role in bringing the Entertainment Community Fund’s mission-driven stories, workshops, and educational content to life. The ideal candidate is both a strong visual storyteller and a meticulous editor, comfortable working in a small but growing in-house studio environment and is excited to help shape the way the Entertainment Community Fund communicates with and supports performing arts professionals nationwide. RESPONSIBILITIES The Video Producer / Editor will create high-quality, accessible video content across educational, promotional, and storytelling projects. This role will execute post-production from rough cut through final delivery, including editing, audio mixing, color correction, motion graphics, captions, and versioned exports for web, LMS, social, and fundraising use. Working closely with the Learning Producer, the Video Producer / Editor helps translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual stories, while maintaining ECF’s brand standards and accessibility requirements. The role will also support studio and on-location production as needed and maintain organized project files, media archives, and delivery timelines. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 3–8+ years of video editing experience in a professional or high-volume production environment., • Expert proficiency in Davinci Resolve or comparable NLE; strong skills in After Effects or comparable motion graphics tools., • Solid understanding of color correction, audio workflows, and post-production pipelines., • Experience working with brand guidelines and accessibility standards (captions, readable motion graphics, etc.), • Strong storytelling instincts and an ability to shape narrative from interviews, voiceovers, and documentary-style footage., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team., • Exceptional organizational and file-management habits. PREFERRED QUALITIES • Experience with e-learning, educational media, or nonprofit communications., • Familiarity with Storyline 360 workflows, SCORM deliverables, or LMS content delivery., • Knowledge of multi-camera editing and syncing workflows., • Experience recording interviews or operating studio equipment. Job Description The Community Service Society (CSS) is an independent, not-for-profit organization that has been at the forefront of public policy innovations that support low-income New Yorkers for more than 175 years. By expanding access to health care, affordable housing, income support programs, employment, opportunities for individuals with conviction histories, debt assistance, and more, we make a tangible difference in the lives of millions. As part of the NYCBenefits initiative, the Benefits Plus Learning Center (BPLC) at CSS has been awarded a contract to work with the Mayor's Office of Child Care on the Outreach and Enrollment Initiative (OEI). OEI is dedicated to expanding access to subsidized childcare and early childhood education options in New York City, ensuring that social service providers can effectively connect families to high-quality programs for children ages 0–5, including those with specialized needs. The training curriculum addresses a broad range of topics, including screening and eligibility requirements; childcare programs such as vouchers and Early Head Start; Extended Day/Year programs; Head Start, Pre-K, and 3-K programs; and the application process, including forms, online portals like MyCity, ACCESS HRA, and MySchools, as well as documentation and deadlines. Additional areas of focus include program and school selection, waitlists, community resources, transportation for eligible populations, support for prioritized groups such as unhoused children, children in foster care, and children with disabilities, along with program considerations and advocacy strategies. Job Description: The Training Associate will work under the supervision of the Director of Benefits Plus Learning Center (BPLC) and the Director of Training. This role involves supporting training delivery, managing related administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth program operations for the Outreach and Enrollment Initiative (OEI). The Training Associate will collaborate closely with the Mayor’s Office of Child Care to address the ongoing training needs of 20 partner community-based organizations (CBOs). Training topics will include available childcare programs through NYC Public Schools and best practices for outreach and engagement. Key responsibilities include: • Deliver and facilitate trainings using existing materials; develop new content (e.g., training decks, handouts) as needed., • Facilitate weekly office hours in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Child Care., • Maintain updated database of participating CBO staff for mail and Teams communication; email/message participants per program need., • Track and analyze training and office hour data, including meeting summary, attendance and evaluations, to inform improvements and supplemental sessions., • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in education studies, social work, sociology, public policy, or a related field., • Project management experience, including strong time management, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication skills., • Public and/or nonprofit work history., • Experience with childcare programs and enrollment processes and applications preferred., • Experience with PowerPoint and Canva preferred., • Expertise in childcare, 3-K and Pre-K programs preferred., • Experience with public speaking and presenting educational materials preferred. Additional Details: • The initiative launched in October 2024 and has already delivered multiple trainings., • Position available for immediate start; grant runs through May 1, 2026. Compensation: This position provides an hourly rate of $40.47. CSS currently offers a hybrid work environment requiring at least two days of onsite work at CSS’ office, and three days per week of remote work.
