Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions. Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests, • Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions, • Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary, • Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures, • Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence, • Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families, • Knowledge of CMS Regulations and NCQA HEDIS Guidelines, • Document accurate medical records to ensure compliance with OSHA and Government regulations and perform duties in accordance with site quality and safety systems, • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, • Analyze and organize the care of critically complex patientsRequirements, • Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility, • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license, • DEA License, • CPR BCLS/BLS certified, • Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing, • Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, • Preferred experience in cardiology: training provided, • Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided, • Competitive salary: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00, • Health, • Dental, • Vision, • 401K, • Company-Sponsored Life Insurance, • Student Loan Repayment Program, • Paid subscription to Up-to-date, • Paid Time Off, • Malpractice InsuranceWhy Work With Us?, • Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors, • Work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment The above-noted job description is not intended to describe, in detail, the multitude of tasks that may be assigned but rather to give the applicant a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of this position.
