Position Overview The HR Administrator plays a critical role in supporting our people operations and ensuring that our fast-paced organization runs smoothly. This role manages day-to-day HR administration, maintains accurate employee records, ensures compliance, leads recruiting and onboarding, and supports the leadership team with process improvements as we scale. This is a role for someone who is organized, proactive, people-oriented, and excited to build structure inside a growing company. Key Responsibilities HR Administration & Compliance • Maintain and update employee files, HRIS records, time-off tracking, and personnel documentation., • Prepare employment letters, onboarding packets, confidentiality agreements, and offer letters., • Support benefits enrollment, workers’ comp documentation, and insurance updates., • Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws., • Support hiring managers by posting job ads, screening resumes, and vetting candidates by conducting initial interviews., • Conduct reference checks and manage pre-employment paperwork., • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR processes, benefits, or policies., • Help maintain a positive, supportive company culture., • Assist with timesheet verification and payroll preparation., • Maintain accurate reporting for audits, compliance checks, and HR metrics., • Support the CEO and leadership team with HR projects, system implementations, and process improvements., • Help build scalable HR structures that support our rapid growth across multiple states and facility locations., • Coordinate trainings, certifications, safety procedures, and documentation for our DC teams and corporate staff. Qualifications Required • 6+ years of HR administration or HR coordinator experience., • Strong understanding of HR best practices and basic labor law., • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail., • Comfortable working with confidential information., • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems., • Experience supporting a multi-location organization., • Prior experience in wholesale, retail, supply chain, or consumer goods., • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems., • Experience working in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments.
