    ENTRY-LEVEL SUPPORT ROLE AVAILABLE FOR 26-27 SCHOOL YEAR - NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED About the Role Basic Office Support: • Greet and check-in visitors following school security protocols, ensuring all guests are properly signed in and receive visitor badges., • Coordinate with teachers and staff to deliver requested supplies from the main office to classrooms or workrooms as needed., • Monitor and restock frequently used office supplies, such as paper, pens, and forms (i.e. MAFs), to maintain a functional work environment., • Assist with digital filing and organizing important documents, ensuring that records are easily accessible and kept in the proper locations. Supporting Attendance Tracking: • Assist with daily attendance processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting as directed by the BOM., • Ensure arrival is set up each day (i.e.: stanchions, CAASS machines in place)., • Support at arrival by monitoring our CAASS scholar attendance scan-in system and escalating issues as needed. Assisting with Technology, Supply, and Inventory Management: • Check supply levels in the Teacher Work Room (TWR) daily and restock essential items (e.g., paper, pens, markers, snacks) to ensure teachers have the materials needed., • Carry and deliver scholar snacks throughout the school building as scheduled., • Monitor and document inventory levels regularly, noting when supplies are running low and informing the BOM to reorder as needed., • Respond promptly to teacher requests for specific supplies, • Troubleshoot basic scholar Chromebook issues and understand the system for distributing new technology, escalating more complex issues to the BOM or IT support. Facilities Support: • Conduct routine facility checks of the school building as directed by the BOM. (Building Operations Manager), • Ensure rapid acknowledgment of facilities slackbot issues and escalate them to the appropriate personnel (BOM or facilities team) according to established protocols., • Walk through hallways, classrooms, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and free of hazards. General Support During Arrival & Dismissal: • Serve as extra support by being present and observant during arrival and dismissal times, while adhering to the guideline of not assuming any leadership and/or scholar management responsibilities., • Aid in recording tardy arrivals or early dismissals, ensuring that accurate records are kept and communicating any issues to the BOM., • Direct students, families, and staff to designated areas, helping manage foot traffic to keep arrival and dismissal processes efficient. Qualifications • 0-2 years of professional experience in an administrative or support role preferred., • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred., • Adaptable and flexible to a fast-paced environment., • Positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently., • Basic computer skills and comfort with technology., • Good verbal communication skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the smooth operation of the school. We have the gallery. We have the artists. We have the exhibitions and artwork. We need buyers. This is a sales and business-development position. Your primary responsibility will be identifying potential buyers, developing relationships, generating qualified leads, and ultimately helping sell artwork. What You’ll Do • Research and identify potential art buyers and commercial clients, • Make outbound calls and emails to qualified prospects, • Build relationships with interior designers, art consultants, architects, hotels, restaurants, developers, hospitality groups, offices, retailers and other businesses purchasing art, • Identify and develop prospective private collectors, • Follow up with qualified gallery visitors and sales inquiries, • Maintain an organized database/CRM of prospects and conversations, • Send artwork information, catalogs and pricing to interested buyers, • Schedule gallery appointments with qualified prospects, • Consistently follow up with leads, • Develop new B2B accounts and long-term client relationships, • Work directly with the Gallery Director to understand available artwork and identify appropriate buyers What This Role Is NOT This is not a curatorial position. You will not be responsible for: • Finding or recruiting artists, • Reviewing artist portfolios, • Selecting artwork, • Curating exhibitions, • Developing exhibition concepts, • Managing artist submissions, • Programming the gallery Those responsibilities remain with the Gallery Director. Your focus is the other side of the gallery: finding the people who buy the art. Who We’re Looking For You do not necessarily need traditional gallery experience. We are interested in someone who is: • Comfortable making outbound calls, • Persistent without being aggressive, • Personable and professional, • Organized with follow-up, • Comfortable speaking with business owners and design professionals, • Interested in contemporary art and photography, • Entrepreneurial, • Excited by building something at an early stage, • Motivated by sales and measurable results Experience in sales, business development, luxury retail, hospitality, interior design, real estate, art sales or client relations is especially valuable. Compensation This is an early-stage, commission-based opportunity. The gallery is currently in its startup/growth stage and cannot offer a traditional salary at this time. Compensation is tied directly to sales and accounts generated by the associate, with uncapped commission potential. We are looking for someone who understands the nature of joining a young business early and is interested in helping build its commercial operation. As the gallery grows and reaches sustainable revenue and/or secures additional financing, there may be an opportunity for this role to develop into a regular paid position with expanded responsibility.
