Job Description Description We are seeking a data-driven Asset Management Associate to drive financial and operational performance across a high-volume residential portfolio. This role is a critical bridge between site-level operations and senior leadership, requiring a blend of advanced financial modeling, Yardi expertise, and an "owner's mindset" toward property management. Primary Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Reporting • Budgeting & Reforecasting: Take an active role in the annual budget process and quarterly reforecasts; perform deep-dive variance analyses to identify and mitigate financial leaks., • Executive Reporting: Compile and present "Health Reports" for the portfolio, focusing on monthly cash flows, key operational metrics, and distribution readiness., • Revenue Optimization: Audit Yardi resident billing (Rent Rolls, GPR, and HAP subsidies) to identify and resolve discrepancies in tenant and government payments., • Collections Strategy: Spearhead monthly arrears meetings with site teams; develop actionable strategies for high-delinquency accounts., • Asset Life-Cycle: Maintain trackers for capital expenditures (CapEx), unit renovations, and service contract expirations to ensure long-term value preservation., • Asset Onboarding: Assist with property and portfolio takeovers, ensuring seamless data integration and operational alignment., • Document Management: Maintain a fluent understanding of leases, loan documents, and partnership agreements (LIHTC experience is a significant plus). Qualifications & Requirements • Experience: 2–5 years in Real Estate Asset Management or high-level Property Management; Commercial leasing experience is highly preferred, • Technical Mastery: Yardi Voyager proficiency is mandatory. You should be comfortable navigating complex ledgers and generating custom reports., • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Business., • Excel Skills: Intermediate to Advanced modeling skills (vlookups, pivot tables, and financial modeling for real estate)., • Market Knowledge: Familiarity with LIHTC compliance is highly preferred., • Scale: Exposure to a massive 8,000+ unit footprint provides a unique platform for professional growth., • Impact: This role has a direct line to the "bottom line" and is instrumental in our portfolio’s strategic expansion.
