Job Description Position Summary Upholds the mission and values of FPCSN by overseeing all FPCSN Clinical Departments and assuring the delivery of all clinical care is trauma-informed, antiracist, evidenced-based, satisfying to patients and staff, and cost-effective; promotes a fiscally sound organization. The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) serves as a member of the Family Practice and Counseling Services Network (FPCSN) Executive Team, participating in network-wide strategy development, planning, and decision-making. The CCO supervises all FPCSN Clinical Directors. Essential Duties and Functions • In collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, ensures compliance with all Federal/HRSA, State, Local and other grant requirements., • Maintains current knowledge regarding today’s healthcare environment, including all FPCSN clinical disciplines, • Collaborates with the Clinical Directors, develops, implement and evaluates all clinical policies and procedures, • Collaborates with Clinical Directors to ensure that the Clinical Departments are operating effectively and efficiently, • Works collaboratively with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure fiscally sound practices within the FPCSN Clinical Departments, • Works collaboratively with FPCSNs Executive Team to ensure effective development, implementation and communication of FPCSNs policies and procedures, • Member of the FPCSN Executive Team, • Supervision of all FPCSN Clinical Directors, • Represent FPCSN to outside agencies and entities in the Chief Clinical Officer role, • Coordinate monthly meetings with Clinical Department leadership, • Coordinate QI efforts for clinical departments, set network goals and promote clinical departmental accountability, • Works collaboratively with the Quality Manager, Population Health Manager and Clinical Directors on all required clinical data reporting, • Serve as a clinical resource to all departments, • Value, understand and ensure each of the clinical departments of FPCSN (clinical care, operations, staffing model, budget/fiscal, etc.) provides high quality, trauma-informed, antiracist, evidenced-based care, • Increase integration among clinical disciplines in collaboration with all Clinical Directors Represent the clinical voice of all disciplines in decision making (grants, programs, operations, staffing, budget/fiscal, etc.), • In partnership with all Clinical Departments, promote and advocate for clinicians, clinical staff, and clinical practice internally to support healthcare professionals. Represent/advocate for FPCSN clinical professions to external partners or governing bodies to advance and influence clinical practice at the local, regional, and state levels., • Clinically practices at least 1 day/week, • Assumes responsibility for other duties as assigned Qualifications • Current Pennsylvania Physician or Nurse Practitioner license, • At least 5 years of practicing as a licensed Physician or Nurse Practitioner, • At least 5 years of leadership experience working with an integrated healthcare facility with multiple clinical disciplines, specifically Dental, Primary Care, Behavioral Health, • At least five years’ experience in healthcare management, • Experience with pediatrics, adults and managing chronic conditions is a must, • Experience working in Behavioral Health is highly preferred, • Leadership and management skills necessary to work effectively within a system, influence results, motivate individuals and teams, and resolve problems in a diplomatic, professional manner., • Excellent relationship, oral and written communication, persuasion, negotiation, and presentation skills. The candidate must be able to clearly articulate factual and advisory information to all levels of staff, executives, the boards of directors, and others, and garner related support., • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
