Job DescriptionJob Title: Foreman and Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Foreman and Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining construction equipment, tools, and machinery, as well as building and setting concrete formwork. The role requires a strong understanding of safe excavation practices, mechanical piping installation, and pre-task planning. Responsibilities • Operate and care for construction equipment, including Skid steer, Mini Excavators, and Forklifts., • Build and set concrete formwork, reinforcing, and concrete placement., • Complete safe excavations, establish grade, and perform backfill operations., • Install both below-grade and above-grade mechanical piping., • Engage in pre-task planning and be ready to learn from on-the-job training., • Manage a crew of pipe layers, concrete workers, and laborers., • Work primarily on job sites around the Phoenix metro area, with some projects throughout the state., • Support Underground Utilities and Wastewater Treatment facilities.Essential Skills, • Experience in pipe fitting, blueprint reading, and pipe installation., • Proficiency in construction and utility construction., • Background in wastewater treatment., • Ability to operate a backhoe and other construction machinery., • Experience in underground utilities, concrete work, and pipe laying., • Capability to manage a team effectively.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in water and wastewater is preferred., • Must own personal tools., • Ability to work with Ductile Iron Pipe and HDPE pipe., • Capable of reading blueprints., • Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks and work in all weather conditions., • Punctuality and reliability are essential.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Mesa, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
