POSITION OVERVIEW: The Assistant Residence Manager is responsible for the overall day to day operation of the residence in accordance to the agency, state and federal regulations. The Assistant Residence Manager is also responsible for the direct supervision of the direct service providers. The Assistant Residence Manager assures that all of the individuals receive quality care and required supervision in reference to the residential habilitation and oversight plans in addition to effective implementation of the program plans for all individuals. They will ensure the program is operating with all Acacia Network expectations, including programmatic, billing, financial, facilities, and quality. The Assistant Residence Manager is available on call 24 hours, 7 days a week. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Supervise and monitor assigned residence staff and per diem in completion of job responsibilities and program operations., • Implementation of all policies, procedures and programs in accordance with the OPWDD regulations and EHCCI/Acacia Network policy and procedures., • Maintain individual and staff program records and training., • Participate in all necessary program planning and case conference meetings., • Attend and participate in agency standing committee, Incident and Human Rights Committee, trainings, and other out of the residence assigned duties., • Review and ensure accurate and timely submission of billing on a monthly basis., • Ensure that the physical plant is maintained and meets the regulatory requirements. Ensure all issues involving repair and maintenance are addressed as needed., • Must successfully complete and ensure that all staff receive required trainings., • Maintain all individuals' financial ledger to ensure accuracy and that all monies are spent appropriately., • Responsible for scheduling client medical, dental and follow-up appointments., • Communicate all relevant information to all residential staff and supervision verbally and in writing for the purpose of giving instruction, providing feedback, and adjusting work practices and maintaining coordination of services., • Be on call 24 hours, 7 days a week., • Must model and perform all aspects of individual programs plans, demonstrating techniques to residence staff., • Responsible for the orientation and training of staff., • Maintain confidentiality of all EHCCI OPWDD clients and staff at all times., • Responsible for the maintenance, use, and budgeting of the residence food and household and petty cash funds., • Maintain a schedule that provides full coverage., • High School Diploma, required (Associate Degree preferred)., • Minimum 5 years’ experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or other human services fields., • Familiarity with OPWDD Guidelines.
