Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 11/17/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Position is in a 10-bed Critical Care ICU unit, • RN to patient ratio is 1:2, • Shifts are 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, • Must be willing to float to Med Surg units as needed, • Experience with vents, drips, management of arterial and central lines, and participating in codes is required, • Unit uses Allscripts, Paragon, and Mckesson EMR systems, • Rare pediatric cases may occur, • Uses Servo ventilators, LTVs, vapotherm, and V60 BiPAPs, • May be required to act as charge nurse depending on unit needs, • Must be willing to float to Med Surg as needed, • COVID-19 vaccine is not required; proof or declination must be provided, • Flu vaccination or declination required, with mask policy if declined (flu deadline is October 31), • At least three nurses are scheduled per shift on the unit Requirements, • Active NY RN license required, • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, • AHA NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification and 6 CEUs on stroke topics required before start, • Previous travel nursing experience required, • Charge experience preferred, charge may be required, • Must pass a proctored EKG exam on Day 1 Benefits, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With over 25 years of experience, American Traveler has established a reputation for outstanding customer service.
