This role ensures that business analysis practices across IT are consistent, strategic, value‑driven, and aligned with MCU’s IT governance, SDLC, PMO processes, and architectural standards. The Supervisor provides leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight to Business Analysts, while also serving as a senior partner to business units, PMO, and technical teams. This role blends strong analytical expertise with people leadership, helping shape solution strategies, raising analysis maturity, and ensuring successful delivery of initiatives that enhance member experience, improve operational efficiency, and reduce risk. Responsibilities: Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Business Analysts at all levels, providing ongoing feedback, training, and performance evaluations., • Establish and maintain standards for requirements quality, documentation, analysis techniques, and delivery practices., • Fosters strong relationships with lines of business to align organizational goals with technology solutions., • Oversee team workload, prioritization, and capacity planning across multiple concurrent initiatives., • Drive a culture of ownership, alignment, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the BA team., • Recruit, onboard, and develop talent in partnership with HR., • Partner with PMO, IT leadership, and business units to align analysis priorities with organizational strategy., • Lead complex discovery efforts across multiple business units, identifying operational needs, regulatory considerations, workflow friction points, and improvement opportunities., • Support project intake, scoping, estimation, and prioritization by evaluating business needs, complexity, and resource demands., • Influence solution strategies by advising on business impacts, risks, dependencies, feasibility, and long‑term considerations., • Oversee delivery of high‑quality business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process models, and documentation for IT initiatives., • Ensure BA deliverables support IT standards, SDLC methodology, PMO governance, and security/change‑management requirements., • Provide senior‑level guidance for major discoveries, future‑state design, business case development, and cross‑functional analysis., • Support and review UAT strategy, test preparation, and validation to ensure solution completeness and accuracy., • Address delivery risks, ambiguity, scope challenges, and stakeholder misalignment early and effectively., • Drive continuous improvement of BA frameworks, templates, playbooks, and tools., • Promote consistency in analysis practices and documentation quality across all projects., • Lead or support process‑improvement initiatives across IT and business units., • Engage cross‑functional partners to enhance workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and measure operational outcomes., • Build strong relationships across departments, technical teams, and vendors to strengthen collaboration and alignment., • Serve as a senior advisor to business owners on requirements, risk, solution impacts, and readiness considerations., • Communicate effectively with executive and non‑technical audiences regarding scope, decisions, impacts, and recommendations. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree required., • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, with increasing scope and complexity., • 2–3+ years of experience supervising or leading Business Analysts or similar technical/business roles., • Strong understanding of IT operations, SDLC processes, PMO methodologies, and enterprise systems., • Experience with enterprise‑scale or multi‑system technology initiatives., • Proficiency with Office 365, SQL, Symitar, and the Jack Henry product suite preferred., • Advanced skills in requirements elicitation, business process modeling, and solution analysis., • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking capabilities., • Strong verbal and written communication with an ability to distill complex concepts., • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a high‑volume environment., • Ability to influence across departments and collaborate with senior leadership., • Leads with integrity, accountability, and clarity., • Effective in coaching, developing, and empowering others., • Skilled at managing change and driving continuous improvement., • Strategic thinker with the ability to set vision and direction for the BA function., • Builds high‑trust relationships and fosters teamwork and inclusion., • Takes calculated risks, encourages innovation, and promotes action‑oriented decision‑making. Why You’ll Love Working Here: The pay range for this position is between $106,300-180,090 annually. Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus, 401(k) with an 6% employer match per pay period.
