American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Montclair, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Interventional Radiology, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 12/22/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Work in an Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting, • Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week from 8:00 to 18:00, • Required to take call and work weekend shifts as needed, • Involves cardiac cath lab procedures, laser-assisted procedures, vascular studies, angioplasty, carotid stenting, and upper/lower extremity angiography, • Procedural sedation administration and monitoring required, • Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience preferred, • Responsibilities include procedural sedation, monitoring patients during advanced vascular and cardiac procedures, and managing post-procedure care, • Must administer and monitor procedural sedation and manage challenging cases independently, • No travel pairs or groups accepted, • No more than three days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved, and no RTO allowed during the first week of orientation, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply, • Scrub and dress code requirements will be provided during onboarding\n \n Requirements\n, • Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration, • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS, • Minimum one year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience required, • Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, pressure ulcer assessment/prevention, and using Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale required, • Experience with sheath removal, monitoring, and vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) required, • Radiation and laser safety experience required, • Former permanent staff must be gone for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler, • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
