The Sales Development Representative performs extensive research on prospective customers, searches and identifies leads within those accounts and establishes first contact with targeted prospects. The SDR also manages ingest of leads from all sources, performs research to qualify those leads and determines the best strategy to convert those leads into new business opportunities for Cornelis with the goal of influencing demand for Cornelis Networks products through its global network of channel and OEM partners. This role carries a quota and is focused on driving sales from end customers that leverage HPC, data analytics, and AI for mission critical purposes and benefit from the competitive advantages afforded by Cornelis Networks high-performance networking solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Research, Identify and engage prospective end customers and generate sales opportunities., • Diligently qualify new leads by gathering information about the prospects current infrastructure, technical requirements, budget and decision-making processes, • Work closely with account managers, channel/partner sales and OEM teams to advance sales opportunities., • Deliver presentations of company solutions to target end customers, especially as first contact within net new logo accounts., • Foster close collaboration with internal product, marketing, and sales teams to nurture the pipeline., • Maintain accurate records and report weekly on all activities including calls, emails and research within the CRM system, • Minimum of 3 years of proven success in an Inside Sales or Sales Development role within highly technical environments., • Demonstratable expertise in using advanced AI tools to drive efficiency in researching, identifying and establishing first contact with new customers in new markets., • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales activity and revenue performance metrics., • Proven success in a startup hunter sales environment. Must demonstrate history in sales development where >75% of leads are self-generated., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce CRM, and lead-generation tools., • Exemplary adherence to the highest ethical standards and integrity., • Self-motivated and proactive with desire and initiative to drive growth and achieve personal and company goals., • Comfortable operating within a dynamic high-growth environment., • Experience in solution selling, especially in a technically complex environment, • Demonstrated ability to tackle intricate challenges through innovative thinking and collaboration., • Exceptional organizational, written & verbal communication and negotiation skills, • Effective interpersonal skills with a knack for building lasting relationships. Your base pay will be determined by factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and location relative to the hiring range for the position.
