Students participate in live workshops and interactive classes designed around real-world speaking and listening skills. Classes are intentionally kept small to encourage participation, accountability, and interaction. Role Overview Four, by Terracotta is seeking Language Ambassadors for Summer 2026. This is a remote, part-time ambassador position focused on promoting workshops, growing community engagement, and supporting brand awareness initiatives. Ambassadors will help introduce Four to students, language learners, study abroad communities, and other prospective audiences through social media, referrals, campus outreach, and word-of-mouth marketing. The role is designed for students or young professionals interested in startups, marketing, communications, education technology, community-building, or language learning. Ambassadors will work directly with the founding team and gain hands-on experience supporting an early-stage education technology startup. Responsibilities • Promote Four workshops and events through social media and personal networks, • Support outreach efforts to prospective students and communities, • Share marketing materials and event information within relevant groups and organizations, • Help grow awareness of Four on college campuses and online communities, • Provide feedback on marketing campaigns, workshops, and community engagement efforts Qualifications • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Comfortable using social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and, TikTok., • Interest in startups, marketing, education, community-building, or language learning, • Comfortable working independently and communicating with the founding team, • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree is preferred but not required Compensation This is a commission-based ambassador position. Ambassadors currently earn compensation for confirmed workshop attendee referrals and may be eligible for additional performance-based bonuses tied to specific outreach or growth goals.     Mid-Bronx CCRP Head Start Job Description Teacher STATEMENT OF JOB The Teacher coordinates implementation of curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of Head Start children. Encourage parent involvement in all aspects of the program and their child’s education. To develop individual goals for children transitioning into programs, provide on-going observation and assessment of progress and facilitate transition into kindergarten. QUALIFICATIONS • BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or related field, or MA/MS in Early Childhood Education. • New York State Certification B-2, New York State Initial Certification, or New York State Professional Certification Birth-Grade 2 (Professional Certification mandates 30 hours of Professional Development every 5 years) • Two years teaching experience and/or supervised student teaching., • Physical Requirement: Physical examination (includes screening for tuberculosis) to show that the individual does not pose a risk to the safety and health of others because of communicable diseases. SPECIFIC DUTIES I. Classroom • Plans and implements the educational program for children by using Creative Curriculum and other resources. • Develop and utilize lesson plans, which reflect mandated elements, parental and cultural influences, and promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of Head Start children. • Individualize one-to-one group activities to reflect the unique needs and strengths of all children in the classroom, including those who are at risk, those with special needs, those who are gifted, and those who are culturally diverse. • Follow a consistent schedule, which includes small and large group experiences, choice time, music and movement, large and small motor activities, language and literacy, problem solving, two or three daily meals, and effective transition between activities. • Encourage experimentation, exploration, cooperation, socialization, ask open-ended questions and listen respectfully to the answers. • Provide an atmosphere that promotes and reinforces parental involvement in the classroom. 2 • Work with other staff and resources in developing specialized planning for children/families as needed, such as speech, occupational, physical, psychological therapist and nutritionist. • Always supervise and monitor children., • Respond to crisis or emergency situations that may occur. Provide first aid or CPR, prevent the spread of blood borne pathogens, and access emergency services as needed. • Accompanies children on trips., • Supervises Assistant Teachers and Volunteers in the classroom., • Participates in case conferences., • Holds parent teacher conferences., • Maintain accurate written records, including assessments, special education documentation, screening instruments, anecdotal observations, family contacts, lesson plans, monthly reports, form 10’s, documents for transition to public school and parent/teacher conference and other required forms.     Program Overview: The Support and Connection Center provides 24/7 short stay, engagement, stabilization, and treatment services for adults with mental health and/or substance use issues referred directly by NYPD as an alternative to the traditional police responses of arrest, summons, or transport to an emergency room. Guests are referred to the Center when their infractions are non-violent and/or low-level offenses such as loitering, trespass, public inebriation, and disorderly conduct. The goal of the Center is to help guests begin to identify and modify the behaviors that result in repeated police contact. An OASAS licensed outpatient clinic, located on site, provides services to guests who are eligible. The maximum length of stay is 5 days. Overall Responsibilities: Under the general direction of the Assistant Program Director, the Clinical Team Lead conducts rapid assessments, engages guests in wellness, discharge, and aftercare planning, and facilitates linkages to community-based services and residential settings. The team lead also oversees a team of CASAC's and Peers and is responsible for the delegation of tasks to the team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties of the Clinical Team Lead include but are not limited to the following activities: · Provides direct care to guests through conducting rapid assessments to identify the full range of service needs and safety planning · As the primary counselor for a designated caseload - collaborates with the full on-site team to ensure coordination of care, individual counseling, treatment planning through targeted case management, and discharge planning · Promotes dignity-based care to reduce the negative effects of drug use for individuals at various stages of recovery · Models best practice, person centered, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented engagement skills for team · Counsel’s guests through individualized and group therapy sessions on issues such as wellness self-management, and community integration skills · Excellent verbal communication skills including an ability to have open and affirming conversations about health, sex and substance use risk. · Identifies and makes referrals for community-based treatment and support services. · Participates and facilitates daily team meetings · Inputs guest information and updates into the facility’s case management software system, ensuring all data is accurate and entered in a timely fashion · Promotes the professional development of supervisees through supervision, professional coaching, and training · Anticipates the needs of the clinical team they lead and executes Qualifications: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LP or master’s level counselor with CASAC (All MSW, MHC, PC candidates must obtain NYS license within 6 months from date of hire) · A minimum of four (4) years of experience working with homeless and criminal justice involved individuals with either a diagnosis of mental illness or a substance use disorder, including experience in emergency or crisis services · Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds · The ability to work well in a highly pressured environment set and meets deadlines and delegate as appropriate · Strong communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders to understand and incorporate diverse points of view, styles, and approaches · An ability to lead, collaborate, and interface with guests as well as all levels of staff · Proficiency in case management software, electronic health records, and Microsoft Office Suite · A minimum of excellent oral, writing, and listening skills All newly hired Project Renewal staff must provide verification of being full
