Job Description About the Role: Lakeside School, an independent 5-12 coeducational day school located in North Seattle is currently recruiting for a Boys Crew Program Head/Head Varsity Boys Crew Coach starting June 1, 2026. The official fall season begins in late-August. The summer will be spent getting ready for the season, working in the boathouse, and meeting with the girls crew program head/head varsity girls crew coach. This is a 12-month contract with coaching responsibilities in the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Additional practices can be scheduled in the summer. Responsibilities The boys crew program head and head varsity coach, reporting to the director of athletics, will join an athletics program that includes 26 varsity teams, most of which have both sub-varsity and middle-school counterparts. The boys crew program includes two squads (Varsity and Novice) at the Upper School and a learn-to-row program at the Middle School. The program head and head varsity coach is directly responsible for the coaching of the boys varsity team as well as oversight and coordination of the entire boys program as well as management duties, in collaboration with the girls program head, for the entire program (boys and girls).
