The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of New Jersey insurance regulations, experience in both personal and commercial lines, and the ability to serve a diverse client base. Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred.This role is perfect for a motivated, service-driven insurance professional looking to advance their career in a growing environment. Primary Responsibilities • Advise clients on personal and commercial insurance options based on their needs and risk profiles, • Underwrite new and renewal policies in accordance with New Jersey laws and carrier guidelines, • Ensure compliance with all state regulations and agency policies, • Build new business through networking, referrals, and local market knowledge, • Maintain and grow a book of business while delivering exceptional customer service, • Assist Spanish-speaking clients with policy selection, claims support, and insurance education, • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and documentation accurately, • Serve as a liaison between clients and carriers to support communication and resolution of issues, • Stay up to date on regulatory changes, carrier products, and industry trendsQualifications & Experience, • Active New Jersey Property & Casualty License (Required), • 3–5 years of experience in both personal and commercial lines, • Strong understanding of New Jersey insurance laws and regulations, • Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written), • Strong customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills, • Experience with insurance quoting platforms and agency management systems, • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, • Deep understanding of the New Jersey insurance market, including regional risks and carrier options, • Experience working with multiple carriers and a wide range of policy types, • Background in customer retention, upselling, and cross-selling strategies, • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital communication toolsBenefits, • Performance incentive pay in addition to annual salary, • Medical, dental, and vision benefits, • 401(k) retirement plan, • Employer-paid group life insurance, • Paid time off and paid holidays, • Paid bereavement leave, • Gym membership reimbursement
