We specialize in Tax Planning, Client Accounting Services (CAS), Advisory, Controller, and CFO Services, focusing on businesses with $1$10 million in annual revenue. Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Tax Accountant to support the delivery of exceptional tax services to our clients. In this role, you will work on a variety of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax engagements, and play a vital role in tax planning, preparation, and research. Youll collaborate with managers, senior staff, and clients to ensure the timely, accurate, and high-quality completion of tax-related projects. Principal Responsibilities: • Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, • Assist with client tax planning and projections under the supervision of senior tax staff, • Conduct research on basic tax issues and assist in the preparation of technical memoranda, • Manage and organize client documentation and respond to information requests, • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance in accordance with regulations, • Support special tax projects and initiatives, including IRS/state correspondence, • Maintain firm quality control standards in all work performed, • Collaborate across departments to provide an integrated service experience, • Participate in firm-wide initiatives and professional development programs Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in Accounting, • 35 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting, • Solid understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ProSeries tax software is a plus, • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • High attention to detail and accuracy in work output, • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a team-first mindset, • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, • Flexibility and adaptability in a hybrid or remote work environment Compensation: Salary Range: $58,000 $72,000 (based on experience and qualifications) Benefits: • Base Salary Range: $58,000 $72,000 (based on experience and qualifications), • Annual Performance Bonus: Up to 10% of base salary, • Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage, • Retirement: 401(k) plan with employer match, • Paid Time Off: Generous PTO package + paid holidays, • Professional Growth: Paid CPE, CPA, EA exam support, and mentorship, • Firm Culture: Supportive, team-oriented environment with clear advancement opportunities We are an equal opportunity employer.
