Our 288-room upscale, full-service Hyatt hotel in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Director of Revenue to join our dynamic executive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced revenue professional — or a high-performing Revenue Manager ready for their first Director role — to make a meaningful impact on total hotel performance. Why This Role Is Exciting • Lead revenue strategy for a complex, full-service asset with diverse demand segments, • Hands-on opportunity to drive total hotel revenue, not just rooms, • Strong brand support, systems, and development opportunities within the Hyatt portfolio, • Collaborative leadership culture with direct access to ownership and executive decision-making What You’ll Be Responsible For As Director of Revenue, you will be the strategic driver of topline performance, responsible for maximizing rooms, F&B, meetings & events, and other ancillary revenue streams. Core Responsibilities Include: • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue optimization strategies across rooms, group, transient, and negotiated business, • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range demand planning with a strong focus on accuracy and agility, • Analyze market trends, competitive performance, and demand drivers to inform pricing and distribution decisions, • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align commercial strategy Expanded Focus on Ancillary & F&B Revenue: • Collaborate with F&B leadership to drive outlet-level performance, including:, • Menu pricing strategy and contribution margin analysis, • Demand-based pricing for outlets, lounges, and special events, • Optimization of group and banquet pricing strategies, • Support revenue growth through packaging, up-sell, and cross-sell initiatives (rooms + dining, meetings, experiences), • Identify opportunities to grow revenue from:, • Meetings & events, • Catering and social business, • Parking, early arrival/late departure, and other hotel services, • Use data and forecasting to assist Operations in labor alignment and profitability, not just topline growth Leadership & Execution: • Facilitate weekly revenue strategy meetings and present insights to senior leadership and ownership, • Optimize channel mix and distribution strategy while maintaining brand standards and rate integrity, • Fully leverage Hyatt systems, RMS tools, and brand analytics platforms, • Coach, mentor, and develop revenue or reservations team members as applicable Digital Presence, Third-Party Optimization & Business Travel Support • Drive website performance and direct booking growth through conversion optimization, strategic merchandising, and alignment of offers with demand patterns, • Partner with Marketing to enhance SEO, content strategy, and on-site user experience to strengthen brand.com performance, • Lead OTA and third-party channel strategy, including rate positioning, parity, content optimization, and use of visibility tools across platforms such as Expedia and Booking.com, • Analyze and optimize channel mix to balance direct and indirect business, improving cost of acquisition while maintaining market share, • Collaborate on integrated digital campaigns across brand.com, paid media, and metasearch to support demand generation, • Support Business Travel initiatives through pricing strategy, account evaluation, and optimization of negotiated and corporate segments, • Provide strategic support to on-site Sales and Commercial leadership to drive account production, market share, and overall revenue performance, • Monitor digital trends, platform changes, and competitive positioning to continuously refine distribution and marketing strategies Qualifications What We’re Looking For • Background in hotel revenue management or analytics (upscale or full-service preferred), • Strong understanding of pricing, forecasting, demand analysis, and distribution strategy, • Experience or exposure to total hotel revenue management, including F&B and ancillary streams, • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to partner across departments, • Comfortable presenting strategy to executive leadership and ownership, • Hyatt systems experience preferred, not required, • First-time Directors of Revenue are encouraged to apply if ready to take strategic ownership and lead What We Offer • Competitive salary with bonus potential, • Comprehensive benefits package, • Career growth opportunities within the Hyatt global portfolio, • Supportive onboarding and leadership development environment, • The opportunity to leave your mark on a high-visibility hotel in a thriving market
