Job DescriptionA growing, multi-location manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Inside Sales professional to drive revenue growth, manage key client relationships, and support complex project-based sales within the steel building and construction space.This role owns the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through close, with a strong focus on solution-based selling, technical accuracy, and customer experience. The position requires a high-performing, detail-oriented sales professional who understands construction workflows and can operate with speed, accuracy, and accountability.This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, and operations, and plays a critical part in converting opportunities into successful, profitable projects.Key Responsibilities • Own and manage the full sales cycle from inbound inquiry through proposal, negotiation, and close, • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified B2B opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship management, • Conduct detailed needs assessments and translate customer requirements into accurate, tailored solutions, • Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure technical accuracy in proposals, • Prepare detailed quotes and proposals using internal systems and industry tools (MBS or similar preferred), • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure alignment from sale to execution, • Manage multiple projects and customer relationships simultaneously while maintaining high responsiveness and accuracy, • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets, maintaining accountability to performance metrics, • Maintain accurate CRM data, including pipeline tracking, forecasting, and activity reporting, • Provide consistent follow-up and communication throughout the sales process to ensure a strong customer experience, • Identify opportunities to improve pricing, quoting processes, and sales workflows, • Support the standardization of sales processes and documentation as the organization scalesRequired Skills and Qualifications, • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments, • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, • Proven track record of managing full-cycle sales and closing deals, • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and customer expectations simultaneously, • High attention to detail, particularly in quoting and technical accuracy, • Proficiency in CRM systems and standard business software, • Self-driven, organized, and accountable for resultsPreferred Experience and Education, • Experience in pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) or steel building systems, • Familiarity with Metal Building Software (MBS) or similar quoting/design tools, • Background in construction, estimating, or project coordination, • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)Compensation Structure, • Commission-based compensation structure tied directly to closed revenue and performance, • Base structure to be discussed during the interview process, • Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership, • Customer-focused with a solutions-oriented mindset, • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, • Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally, • Direct impact on revenue and customer experience, • Exposure to complex, project-based sales in a growing organization, • Strong collaboration with engineering and operations, • Opportunity to help standardize and scale the sales function, • Growth potential within a high-demand industry
