Job Description As a Restaurant cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service in a fast- paced restaurant environment. You will be the first point of contact for customers and play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience. Key Responsibilities: • Greet customers as they enter the restaurant and assist them with menu options and recommendations., • Take customer orders accurately and input them into the point of sale system., • Process payment using cash, credit cards, debit cards and mobile payment methods and provide customers with receipts., • Handle cash transactions in compliance with restaurant policies and procedures., • Maintain a clean and organized station, including replenishing supplies, keeping area fully stocked and keeping the area neat., • Will prepare orders To Go orders and prepare plates with garnish and sauces., • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered accurately and in a timely manner., • Address customers inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner., • High school diploma or equivalent., • Proven experience in customer service or cashier role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Excellent math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment and multitask effectively., • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team., • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays., • Bilingual (English and Spanish) Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the restaurant., • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds., • Stamina to work in a busy and sometimes stressful environments.
