Job Description RN Unit Manager Salaried: $83,200- $87,360 (depending on experience) Equivalent Hourly Rate: $40 - $42/hour Sign-on Bonus: Up to $10,000 Shift: Full-Time, 40 hours Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Susquehanna Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking to add an RN Unit Manager to its nursing leadership team. In this role, you'll oversee the clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and interdisciplinary coordination. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee the clinical care and daily operations of an assigned nursing unit, • Supervise nursing staff, nursing assistants, rehabilitation aides, and unit support staff, • Conduct resident assessments and ensure care plans are implemented, updated, and followed appropriately, • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes with providers, families, and interdisciplinary team members, • Review provider orders, laboratory results, incident reports, and quality indicators, • Participate in care plan meetings, family meetings, QAPI activities, and interdisciplinary rounds, • Coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers, outside appointments, and resident services, • Ensure accurate documentation, medication management, and regulatory compliance, • Support staff education, orientation, coaching, and performance management activities, • Monitor infection control, immunization tracking, resident safety, and quality improvement initiatives, • Address resident, family, and staff concerns while promoting a positive care environment, • Perform additional duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred, • Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required, • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a long-term care setting required, • 3-5 years of long-term care experience with supervisory experience preferred, • Strong knowledge of resident assessments, care planning, and long-term care regulations, • Leadership experience with the ability to supervise, coach, and mentor staff, • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, • Ability to coordinate care across multiple disciplines and manage competing priorities, • Experience with quality improvement, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance preferred, • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care BENEFITS: • Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-Time, • Weekly or Same-Day Pay Options, • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • Life Insurance, • Employee Referral Bonus Program, • Retirement Saving Options
