Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Surgical Step Down unit, providing specialized care to postoperative patients in a dynamic academic medical center environment. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care during night shifts to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and intervention. Qualifications: • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program., • Licensure: Active New York State RN license; Current BLS certification (or willing to recertify)., • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an acute care facility., • Technical Skills: EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred., • Soft Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
