Is this you? • Comfortable traveling in the region with occasional overnights when needed?, • Confident reading schematics and using a laptop to pull OEM procedures and run diagnostics?, • Experienced with hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engines on utility equipment?, • Ready to represent CTOS on-site, communicate clearly, and minimize downtime for customers? What you’ll handle, • Field maintenance and repair on chassis-/track-mounted aerials, digger derricks, truck-mounted cranes, and hi-rail equipment., • LMI (Load Moment Indicator) and CAN bus (Controller Area Network) diagnostics and corrective actions., • Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting on utility trucks and specialty gear., • Inspections, adjustments, and repairs both in the service center and at customer locations., • Work verification and road testing; accurate documentation of time, parts, and findings., • Correct tagging/handling of warranty and core components., • Immediate communication to leadership if scope changes or timelines are impacted., • Strict adherence to CTOS safety practices, plus regulatory compliance including proper hazardous waste handling., • Travel flexibility beyond your normal coverage area when business demands. What you’ll bring, • High School diploma or GED, plus ~5 years of related shop and field experience., • Valid driver’s license (CDL Class B preferred but not required)., • Personal set of mechanic’s tools., • Ability to document work digitally and meet timelines. Bonus points for, • Electrical, hydraulic, welding, and blueprint/schematic experience., • Quick Serve, DTNA, or similar diagnostic software familiarity., • Knowledge of DOT, ANSI, and dielectric testing.
