What you will do in this role: • Performs superior/quality CT/Radiology procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist to patients of all ages, • Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring., • Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities, • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of CT/Radiology procedures.( OP, Inpatient, OR, ED), • Ensures patients and family are properly informed of the procedures and patient comfort is maximized., • Other duties as assigned by the Lead Technologist, Supervisor, Manager or Director of Imaging. What qualifications you will need: • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date, • Registered Radiographer (ARRT), • Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, • Registered Computed Tomography Technologist, or Computerized Tomography (CT) License/Certification: Registered in Radiology and CT with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)(CT) Medical City Las Colinas, built in 1997, is a 100+ bed full service, acute-care facility.
