The Role: UAT is seeking an experience and dynamic sales leader to oversee the Admissions Department. We are interested in candidates with experience, skillset, and knowledge of an Admissions Director; however, we are open to training a candidate who does not have all the requirements but meets the essentials of the position. Title and pay will be dependent on a combination of years of experience, skillset, certifications, and leadership capabilities. We are looking for a seasoned professional to provide supervision and management to the Admissions Team by overseeing the daily operations related to inquiry and enrollment generation for on ground, online, graduate, and international students. This role provides leadership to ensure university, department, and individual goals are consistently met and exceeded. Responsibilities: • Meet or exceed year-over-year enrollment goals, ensuring student successfully start and matriculate into the university, • Build a robust student pipeline from prospect to graduate, • Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans, building a high-performing team, • Evaluate and refine admissions processes to improve efficiency, conversion rates, and applicant experience, • Lead, monitor, and develop a diverse Admissions team, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, • Set team goals, establish clear performance expectations, and provide ongoing coaching, • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements related to admissions, • Foster strong communication and teamwork across student-facing departments to support seamless admissions process, • Ensure a positive, student-centered admissions experience. Skills/Requirements: • Bachelor's degreerequired;Masters degree preferred: a combination of a Bachelor's degree and specialized education or experience may also be considered, • 5+ years of experience in higher education admissions, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, • Proven ability to coach, motivate, and build high-performing teams, • Demonstrated success in meeting enrollment goals and improving recruitment outcomes, • Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of college students that come from diverse academic, socioeconomic, ethnic and racial backgrounds, • Work independently on complex admissions issues and processes, • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others, • Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action, • Cultivate positive relationships with UAT students and ensures the highest level of customer service, • Demonstrate ability to analyze processes, improve procedures, and generate innovative solutions Location Requirements: This is not a remote position; candidates must be willing and able to work in-person at the Tempe Campus.
