Job Description Job Summary The Project Liaison serves as a central communication and coordination point between internal departments, external partners, and project stakeholders. The Project Liaison ensures that strategic initiatives, regulatory projects, operational improvements, and technological enhancements are executed smoothly, on time, and with clear visibility. The Project Liaison supports project planning, tracks progress, mitigates issues, and helps translate business needs into actionable tasks. This person must possess a positive can-do attitude, demonstrate enthusiasm, solve problems, and multitask. Projects will center around banking core systems (Jack Henry) but will include a broader scope as needed. Essential Job Duties • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of bank-wide projects (including but not limited to system upgrades, compliance, new product rollouts, operational enhancements), • Define project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, • Ensure resource availability and allocation to conduct the project, • Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and action logs; monitor progress and follow-up with task owners to ensure timely completion, • Perform activities in compliance with company policies and procedures, • Provide backup support to others within the department, • Acts as a critical point-of-contact between vendors, internal departments, and executive leadership, • Translates technical or regulatory requirements into practical guidelines for nontechnical stakeholders, • Tests and updates parameters in Jack Henry core systems to align with business and regulatory objectives; includes end-of-year preparation and support, • Oversees and manages roles and access to Jack Henry core systems, • Prepares project documentation (status reports, dashboards, and internal communications; works with department leaders to assist with the creation of training documentation and job aids, • Build and manage relationships with service providers and vendors. Look for more cost-effective service options, • Ensure all spreadsheets, call tickets, workflows, and reports are updated with accurate information, • Escalate vendor software issues, coordinate project testing/training/implementation, • Conduct risk management to minimize project risks, • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills, • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, • Manage the escalation of issues and risks, as appropriate, • Assist with updating bank policies, procedures, and risk assessments Adaptability & Accountability: Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, accepts criticism and feedback, changes approach or method to best fit the situation and takes responsibility for own actions. Communication: Expresses ideas and thoughts both verbally and in written form, exhibits good listening skills and comprehension, responds well to questions, writes clearly and informatively and edits work for spelling and grammar. Presents accurate numerical data effectively. Occasional local travel Additional Information: Min: $90,000 Max: $110,000/annually
