Why join us? • 100% paid benefits - medical, dental & vision, • FSA & HSA, • 2 days in office, hybrid scheduling, • Above market salary, • 100% short-term and long-term disability, • Monthly cell phone reimbursement, • Transit allowance, • ESOP, • Flexible PTO, • Paid study and exam fees, professional license and continued education Job Details • Advance the studio's commitment to a transdisciplinary design approach by collaborating closely with the Seattle and Oregon Healthcare Studio Co-Leader in all aspects of studio leadership., • Promote design excellence and exceptional project delivery through regular design reviews, ensuring alignment with firm standards and delivering maximum value to clients., • Cultivate strong client relationships with healthcare providers, engaging in project progress discussions and proactively addressing concerns., • In partnership with other leaders, establish and implement annual business goals, strategies, and tactics to drive studio success., • Lead business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities to expand the studio’s portfolio., • Oversee the financial health of studio projects, monitoring key metrics to ensure projects remain on budget and on schedule., • Provide leadership and direction across all ongoing projects, supporting project leaders in achieving excellence across all offices., • Review project performance with team members to ensure efficiency, profitability, and high-quality outcomes., • Conduct quarterly performance reviews, setting clear goals and offering constructive feedback to team members., • Ensure optimal staffing and resource allocation to meet project demands and exceed expectations., • Offer mentorship to staff, fostering professional growth and leadership development., • Co-lead the studio’s annual strategic planning sessions, setting ambitious yet achievable goals., • Represent the firm at industry networking events, expanding client and industry relationships., • Champion sustainability initiatives within studio projects, ensuring implementation and tracking., • Lead the integration of emerging trends and innovations into studio projects through research and application., • Collaborate with other studio and regional office leaders to share insights, best practices, and foster cross-studio collaboration., • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture., • Licensed architect with current NCARB certification., • 10+ years of experience leading healthcare projects., • Established network of connections with healthcare providers and industry leaders., • In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, FGI guidelines, DOH standards, Energy Codes, ADA requirements, and other regulatory frameworks., • Proven experience in proposal writing and contract negotiations with clients and healthcare institutions., • Skilled in collaborative design processes, seamlessly integrating architecture and interior design from project inception., • Expertise in managing complex, multi-phased healthcare projects.
