Title: Office Coordinator Department: Pre-College Programs Reports To: Director, TRIO Programs Position Type: Staff Position Summary: Under the leadership of the Director of TRIO Programs, the Office Coordinator provides professional and administrative support to the Director and other members of the TRIO Cluster for the efficient operations of the cluster. The Office Coordinator coordinates office management tasks, supports administrative operations, and works closely with other departments. Assists with cluster programs, events, and office staff coordination, including support for the data collection, implementation, and management of the Slate CRM and TRIO Access database system. Program Support: -Provide administrative support for various programs and activities, including event coordination, room reservations, media equipment setup reservations, signage, catering orders, and facilities coordination. -Prepare and manage requisitions for program and office purchases through NJIT's Highlander eMerchant system. -Assist with preparing correspondence, documentation materials, and reports using MS Office and similar applications. Project Assistance: -Support cluster projects and events, and prepare materials, as needed. -Assist with the orientation, training, and assignment of student and temporary employees. -Maintain confidentiality in all areas of program personnel and departmental operations. Slate CRM (and Cluster Database) System: -Support the data collection, implementation, and ongoing management of the Slate CRM (SPCI database) system, including data entry, report generation, and user support. Who will lead our children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development. New Coaches can work *5-25 classes a week and can earn from $18-$25 per hour. • Our Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success, • Our Coaches use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress-free environment, • Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success, • And finally, our coaches have a blast. They are open-minded, and know that coaching is a continuous journey. All Coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by attending regular trainings and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual Coaching Roles & Responsibilities: • Assist/Teach an energetic & motivating class, connect & challenge each child, help them to accomplish motor development & skill goals & inspire a love of movement & healthy habits in an organized, structured & FUN manner., • Provide individual and group attention to children., • Show up on time to class, physically and mentally prepared (includes commuting time). Equipment: Assist with the distribution & upkeep of equipment needed. Hiring: Assist the hiring manager with sourcing & screening potential candidates. Marketing/Branding: Manage the ordering, printing, & distribution of flyers, posters & signage. Observations: Recording classes for coach development video feedback Requirements Requirements • Able & willing to travel throughout Rockland County to class locations, • Availability must include weekday mornings (9a-12p) weekday afternoon (12p - 3p) &/or early evenings (3p-6p), • Prior experience working with children PREFERRED, • Soccer playing background PREFERRED, • Must be FUN, ENERGETIC, PATIENT, ATTENTIVE, & PUNCTUAL The Schedule The majority of classes are held during the after school hours and on weekends. The ideal candidate would have the availability on some of the days and times listed below: • Monday-Friday (Times): 3:00-6:00, • Coach referral program from $100 up to $200 for every coach you recommend, • End of season bonus program for lead coaches, • Sponsored sports and first aid certifications, • Coach of the season and coach of the year awards, • Sports store discounts, • Free programming for family and discounts for friends, • Opportunities to work full-time and even become a franchise owner The Location: Classes are held across schools, parks, and recreational centers across Bergen County, NJ. Coaches are expected to travel up to an hour to get to a class location.
