Job Description About Little Land Pediatric Therapy & Play Gym - Arcadia, CA Little Land Arcadia is a family-focused clinic dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential through play-based and individualized therapy services. Position Overview We are seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will evaluate and treat children with a variety of sensory, motor, and developmental needs. While feeding experience is not required, it is a valuable asset and highly encouraged. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, motivated to create engaging therapy sessions, and committed to supporting both the child and their family. Key Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify sensory, fine motor, and functional skill deficits., • Develop individualized treatment goals and plans based on assessment findings and family input., • Provide hands-on, play-based therapy sessions that address each child’s unique developmental and sensory-processing needs., • Incorporate fun, child-centered approaches to boost engagement and enhance progress., • Feeding Therapy: If experienced or interested, support children with feeding challenges by addressing sensory and oral-motor skills., • Communicate with parents/caregivers regarding treatment goals, progress, and strategies to reinforce skills at home., • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (speech, physical therapy) for comprehensive care., • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes., • Adhere to state and federal regulations, as well as clinic policies and ethical standards. Professional Development • Stay updated on the latest research, tools, and methods in pediatric occupational therapy., • Participate in team meetings, mentorship opportunities, and continuing education initiatives. Qualifications • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program., • Current California OT license or eligibility for licensure., • Previous pediatric experience (clinical rotations, internships, or professional roles) is preferred., • Feeding therapy experience is a plus but not required., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on family-centered care., • Ability to adapt and be creative in therapy sessions., • Eagerness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compensation & Benefits • Multiple Service Formats, • Little Land Arcadia offers out-patient clinic sessions, Telehealth services, and in-home therapy., • Flexible Pay Rates, • In-clinic and Telehealth sessions are paid at a competitive base rate., • In-home therapy commands a higher pay rate to account for travel and additional time requirements., • Optional In-Home Services, • Therapists are not required to offer in-home therapy. However, in-home opportunities are available for those interested in diversifying their caseload and increasing their earning potential.
