Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000 yearly DOE Responsibilities: • Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings, • Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff, • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently, • Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action, • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice, • Manage and handle a caseload of family law matters from inception through resolution, • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, declarations, and settlement agreements, • Appear at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials as needed, • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies tailored to each client’s goals, • Advise and guide clients through emotionally sensitive legal processes with professionalism and empathy, • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to ensure deadlines are met and client service remains exceptional, • Engage in mediation and collaborative divorce processes in addition to litigationQualifications:, • Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam, • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base, • Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school, • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA), • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, • Active California Bar License in good standing, • Active member of local bar association, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Strong legal research, analysis, and drafting abilities, • Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines, • High level of professionalism, integrity, and client service Preferred: • Certified Family Law Specialist (C.F.L.S.) designation or actively pursuing certification, • Minimum 2–5 years of experience practicing family law, • Familiarity with mediation and collaborative divorce processes, • Courtroom and trial experience in family law mattersAbout Company Ashley A.
