The Pediatric Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing evaluations, assessments, and ongoing therapy for children birth to three years of age. The qualified applicant will provide individual client services and determine priority needs for physical therapy by: • Provide individual physical therapy services, assessing clients' needs through initial evaluations and re-assessments, • Develop and implement personalized, compliant care plans based on specific client goals and in accordance with guidelines., • Deliver direct patient care, with or without the assistance of therapy aides, to execute treatment plans., • Reassess and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure the program's effectiveness., • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about their roles in the treatment process., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including PTAs and other specialists, to enhance therapy programs., • Document accurate clinical notes regarding patient evaluations and progress., • Monitor patient responses to therapy and communicate changes to patients, families, and other medical staff as necessary., • Co-treat with other disciplines as beneficial for the client., • Develop strategic and long-range plans for the program.
