Project Details • Location: El Mirage, AZ, • Schedule: Monday–Sunday, • Language Requirement: Must speak English ⚡ Technical Skills • Industrial Electrical Systems, • Strong understanding of three-phase power systems, motor controls, MCCs, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, control panels, and industrial lighting., • Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and single-line diagrams., • Installation & Construction Standards, • Inspecting and verifying conduit installations, cable routing, terminations, grounding/bonding, and panel wiring., • Ensuring all work aligns with project specifications, approved drawings, and method statements., • Testing & Commissioning, • Performing and witnessing electrical testing, including:, • Continuity, insulation resistance, and polarity testing, • Megger, clamp meter, and multimeter verification, • Earth resistance and grounding system tests, • Functional tests for motors, circuits, and control systems, • Ensuring equipment is safe and compliant before energization., • Standards & Codes, • In-depth knowledge of:, • NEC (National Electrical Code), • NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace), • IEC / IEEE standards, • OSHA and local safety regulations 📋 QA/QC & Documentation Skills • Inspection & Verification, • Conducting daily site inspections to ensure work quality, compliance, and safety., • Reviewing and approving electrical work before handover or commissioning., • Documentation & Reporting, • Preparing and maintaining:, • Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), • Material Inspection Reports (MIRs), • Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), • Checklists, punch lists, and daily QA/QC logs, • Verifying that all test results and records are accurate and traceable., • Audit & Compliance, • Supporting internal and external quality audits., • Ensuring materials and workmanship comply with contract specifications and quality standards. 💻 Technical Tools & Software • AutoCAD – for reviewing as-built drawings and schematics, • MS Excel / Word / Outlook – for logs, reports, and correspondence, • Procore / Aconex / SharePoint – for QA/QC documentation management, • Familiar with test instruments like Megger, Fluke meters, earth testers, and phase rotation meters. 🧠 Soft Skills • Attention to detail – identifying deviations and potential safety hazards early., • Strong communication skills – coordinating with engineers, supervisors, and clients., • Teamwork – collaborating with electricians, foremen, and QC teams., • Problem-solving – addressing non-conformances effectively., • Time management – balancing multiple inspections and reporting deadlines. 🎓 Typical Requirements • Journeyman / Licensed Industrial Electrician or Technical Diploma in Electrical field., • 5+ years’ experience in industrial electrical installation and at least 2 years in QA/QC inspection., • Certifications that boost credibility:, • OSHA 30 / NFPA 70E Safety Certification, • QA/QC or ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification (preferred), • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Permit to Work (PTW) training.
