Scope of Position: • The Process Engineer will provide hands-on support in a manufacturing environment to identify equipment, product, process, or operational issues and implement practical corrective actions that improve safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Provide hands-on engineering support on the manufacturing floor to troubleshoot equipment, product, process, and operational issues., • Analyze data, observations, and process conditions to identify root causes and improvement opportunities., • Recommend, implement, and verify corrective actions to improve quality, uptime, throughput, and process stability., • Support equipment start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, qualification, and process optimization., • Partner with operations, maintenance, quality, engineering, and vendors to resolve issues and sustain improvements., • Maintain procedures, standard work, technical documentation, and clear communication of findings and recommendations. Key Skills: • Manufacturing floor troubleshooting, • Root cause analysis and corrective action, • Equipment, process, and product issue resolution, • Data analysis and process improvement, • Cross-functional collaboration with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clear technical documentation and communication of findings, risks, and recommendations, • Required Qualifications, • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another STEM field required., • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or plant environment., • Demonstrated ability to identify equipment, product, process, or operational issues and implement corrective actions., • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills., • Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with plant procedures. Preferred Skills and Experience: • Experience with root cause analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, or other continuous improvement methods., • Familiarity with manufacturing systems, process controls, data analysis tools, and production performance metrics., • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to spend time on the manufacturing floor engaging with operators and observing processes.\nCompany Description 22nd Century Technologies, Inc.
