Glow Motion Technologies Project Manager – Live Entertainment & Technical Production Location Las Vegas, NV Travel Required About Glow Motion Technologies Glow Motion Technologies is a Nashville-based entertainment technology company specializing in kinetic winches, custom LED systems, automation, touring productions, experiential activations, and large-scale live event technology. We support major concert tours, television productions, permanent installations, and brand activations across the world. Our systems integrate motion, lighting, video, and automation into unified production environments for some of the largest productions in the entertainment industry. We are looking for a highly organized, fast-moving, solutions-oriented Project Manager to help keep projects aligned, organized, and moving from initial handoff through execution. The Role This is not a traditional office-only project management role. We are looking for someone who can help organize communication between departments, manage project timelines, support clients, coordinate moving parts, and help ensure projects stay on track from prep through deployment. This role is heavily focused on: • communication, • organization, • follow-through, • urgency, • prioritization, • client support, • keeping projects moving Live entertainment environments are fast-paced, constantly evolving, and require adaptability, problem solving, and strong communication under pressure. Core ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination • Manage assigned projects from sales handoff through completion, • Coordinate communication between internal departments and external clients, • Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, • Help ensure departments receive the information they need to execute successfully, • Follow up consistently to help prevent important details from falling through the cracks, • Help maintain visibility on project status across teams Client & Production Communication • Advance projects with clients, production managers, touring teams, vendors, and internal departments, • Gather and organize technical, scheduling, and logistical information, • Communicate updates, changes, and deadlines clearly between all parties, • Support onsite teams and project execution as needed, • Help maintain strong client experience throughout the project lifecycle Warehouse & Prep Coordination • Coordinate prep schedules alongside warehouse and operations teams, • Help ensure equipment, labor, trucking, and project details are aligned before load-out, • Assist with project organization, packing coordination, and readiness tracking, • Work closely with inventory and prep teams to help keep projects moving efficiently Project Execution Support • Support rehearsals, installations, load-ins, and live event deployments when needed, • Help coordinate labor, schedules, travel, and onsite communication, • Assist with troubleshooting and operational coordination during high-pressure situations, • Help ensure projects stay aligned during rapid schedule or scope changes Administrative & Organizational Support • Maintain project notes, schedules, spreadsheets, prep documentation, and communication records, • Help improve project organization and communication workflows, • Assist with internal scheduling and coordination between departments, • Help maintain accountability and follow-through across projects Background & Experience • Strong preference for candidates with live entertainment technical production backgrounds, • Experience as a Master Electrician, Crew Chief, Technical Director, Production Electrician, or similar live-event technical role, • Strong understanding of power distribution, signal flow, networking, DMX, sACN, Art-Net, and technical production systems, • Ability to understand how systems are physically built, prepped, deployed, and operated in real-world production environments, • Experience reviewing equipment lists, identifying missing components, and understanding how technical systems integrate together, • Experience with touring, rehearsals, load-ins, prep environments, or technical warehouse operations, • Experience in project management or production coordination, • Strong communication and organizational skills, • Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly in fast-paced environments, • Experience coordinating multiple departments simultaneously, • Comfortable working with schedules, spreadsheets, inventory systems, and production paperwork, • Experience with RentalWorks or production management software is a plus, • Touring or onsite production experience is a plus Technical Expectations This role requires someone who is technically minded and capable of understanding how entertainment systems are actually assembled and deployed in the field. This role is not expected to perform full-time programming or engineering work, but the candidate should be comfortable understanding: • Power distribution, • Signal flow, • Networking, • DMX systems, • Lighting systems, • Rigging workflows, • Data distribution, • Show infrastructure, • Technical prep workflows, • System troubleshooting, • Equipment integration The right person should be able to look at a system, understand how the pieces connect together operationally, and help identify missing information or potential problems before a project leaves the warehouse.
