Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Personal Lines Producer with a proven track record in new business production and client retention. In this role, you'll focus on generating new personal lines accounts, cross-selling additional coverages, and providing exceptional service that drives referrals and organic growth. This is a full-time, production-oriented position with strong earning potential through competitive base + commission structure. Key Responsibilities • Actively prospect and generate new personal lines business through referrals, networking, warm/cold leads, digital marketing follow-up, and community involvement, • Qualify leads, conduct thorough needs analyses, and present customized insurance solutions (auto, home, renters, umbrella, flood, etc.), • Quote, compare, and bind policies using agency management systems and comparative rater tools, • Cross-sell and upsell additional lines of coverage to both new and existing clients, • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to achieve high retention rates, • Stay current on carrier appetites, underwriting guidelines, coverage forms, and industry trends, • Collaborate with account managers/CSRs and underwriters to ensure smooth policy placement and issue resolution, • Meet or exceed monthly/annual new business production goals Required: • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license in Pennsylvania (required), • Minimum 1+ years of proven experience selling personal lines insurance (auto, home, umbrella, etc.), • Demonstrated success in new business production and meeting/exceeding sales targets, • Strong knowledge of personal lines products, coverages, and common carrier guidelines, • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative sales skills, • Proficient with insurance agency management systems, • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment, • Professional appearance and demeanor with a strong focus on customer servicePreferred:, • Experience working in an independent agency environment (multiple carriers), • Existing book of business or strong referral network in the local community (a plus, not required), • Competitive base salary + generous commission structure on new business, • Bonus opportunities for production milestones and agency growth, • Health insurance, • Paid time off, holidays, and continuing education allowance, • Supportive team environment with marketing/lead generation assistance, • Modern agency tools and strong support staff, • Family-oriented, community-rooted culture, • Opportunity to build a rewarding, long-term career in your hometownIf you're a proven personal lines sales professional ready to take the next step in your career with a respected local agency, we want to hear from you!
