We are seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Toddler Teacher who enjoys working with young children and supporting a positive, nurturing classroom environment. The Assistant Toddler Teacher will work closely with the Lead Teacher to support daily routines, assist with activities, and help maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities • Assist the Lead Teacher in creating and maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment, • Support implementation of age-appropriate activities and daily routines, • Help maintain consistent routines for diapering, potty training, meals, naps, and play, • Ensure proper supervision and safety at all times, • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members, • Assist with monitoring and documenting childrens daily activities as needed, • Follow all OCFS regulations and center policies, • Support classroom organization and cleanliness throughout the day, • Previous experience in a child care setting, • Interest in early childhood education and child development, • CDA certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred, • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, • Reliable, responsible, patient, and positive attitude, • Passion for working with young children and supporting their development
