What You'll Do (Job Overview): As a Processing Associate at Vital Farms, you will work within our state-of-the-art manufacturing and production facility to wash, sort, and pack our pasture-raised eggs from our family farms. This role at Egg Central Station (ECS) is critical in bridging the gap from local family farms to grocery stores for our consumers. You'll be on your feet during each twelve-hour shift, moving, lifting, loading and working with air-conditioned and sunlight-filled warehouse. • 2-2-3 schedule: 2-week cycle, • Week 1: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on, • Week 2: 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off, • Shifts: 12 hour shifts, • Day Crew - 6am to 6pm, • Day Shift - $20.25 per hour, • Night Shift - $20.25 per hour + $3 per hour Night shift differential, • Holiday pay, • Healthcare offered/starting the first day of the month following your start! (medical, vision, dental and life), • 401K with a 3% company contribution starting day one!, • Paid Time Off with your first paycheck!, • Free Eggs, • Fun team swag, • Operate machines and robots to load, sort, and pack our pasture-raised eggs., • Keep sanitary conditions for optimal food production., • Ensure our eggs meet the standards by carefully following our procedures and performing quality checks., • Perform inspections on supplies and ready for use., • Operate powered jacks to move supplies and product within the warehouse., • Must be able to speak, read and write in English for safety and food quality reasons., • 1 year of work experience in a production and or manufacturing environment., • You're able to frequently lift and/or move up to 60lbs., • You're committed to following all personal safety requirements rigorously., • Be flexible and execute other duties and production tasks required.
