This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY Key Responsibilities: • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistently with the values of Jefferson., • Operates CT scanners to produce radiographs according to departmental procedures; ensures the quality of pictures are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes., • Ensures accurate positioning and proper preparation for patients during scanning procedures; conducts timely adjustments of patient position and/or medical dosages according to anatomical circumstances and other technical factors., • Demonstrates proper filming procedure and critiques films to ensure accuracy and clarity for physician interpretation., • Implements radiation safety guidelines and conduct proper radiation protection during the imaging process., • Creates hardcopy record of exam via CD-R, films and data transfer to PACS. Completes exam in Radiology Information System. Performs QC on exam in PACS to maintain system and billing accuracy., • Maintains CT Scanning equipment by performing scheduled cleaning, testing and documenting results; notifies supervision of malfunctioning equipment., • Knowledge of RIS systems, • Knowledge of PAC’s systems, • IV Certification, • Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program and documentation of formal CT program., • BLS, • Target rate is $44.66 - $51.86/hr, experience-based, • SELF-SCHEDULING, • Day and Night Shift Available (7a-7:30p OR 7p-7:30a)

Our highly specialized Fusion Biopsy Technologists travel to various hospitals in their assigned region each month to provide the MR Fusion device and support the Urologists in its operation for MR Fusion Prostate Biopsy procedures in the OR. MR Fusion Biopsy is a revolutionary new procedure which is changing the landscape for detecting Prostate cancer earlier and more accurately. Our MR Fusion Specialists work independently and oversee the logistical and clinical needs for their route in preparation for the procedures. Responsibilities include of MR / Radiology / Ultrasound / Fusion Specialist: • Communicating with Urology offices to confirm upcoming schedule, • Obtaining MRI Mappings from the Radiology teams (can be accomplished remotely through the Cloud), • Traveling to facilities to deliver the equipment prior to day of procedures, • Providing technical and clinical support to the Urologists during the procedures. This position does not involve performing MRI scans but does involve assisting the Urologist in fusing the MRI Mapping to the live Ultrasound capture and in navigating in a 3D environment with the Fusion device. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a new movement in Prostate cancer detection, and to help in the ongoing development of this new program at UMS.
