Join our healthcare team and provide expert care to mothers and newborns in a collaborative Labor & Delivery unit.\n \n\nLabor & Delivery RN Job Details\n\n • Assignment Type: Travel Nursing\n, • Location: Issaquah, Washington 98029 (Seattle area)\n, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910–$2050\n, • Start Date: November 3, 2025\n, • End Date: February 23, 2026\n, • Contract Duration: 16 weeks\n, • Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)\n, • Hours per Week: 36\n, • Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit (8 labor rooms, 4 triage rooms)\n, • Staffing Ratio: 1:1-3\n, • Float: May float to Post-Partum and NICU based on nursing skills\n\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n, • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (no first-time travelers)\n, • Active Washington or Compact RN license\n, • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)\n, • Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system\n, • Experience with high-risk deliveries, OB-GYN, pre-op, post-op, and couplet care\n, • Ability to float to Post-Partum and NICU units as needed\n, • Two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years\n, • Proof of permanent residence (driver’s license preferred)\n, • Completion of prescreen questionnaire\n, • Reliable transportation required\n\n\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n\n, • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, including assessment, monitoring, and support throughout labor, delivery, and recovery\n, • Assist with high-risk deliveries and attend all deliveries as required\n, • Circulate for C-sections and provide pre-op and post-op care\n, • Administer blood products, medications (Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate), and manage epidural and PCA pumps\n, • Perform sterile vaginal exams, wound assessment and care, and IUPC placement/calibration\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes\n, • Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care\n GHR Healthcare Job ID #412685.
