We are adding to our team a Medical Assistant who is foremost intelligent, goal-oriented and has a strong work ethic. Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated, intelligent, and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patient care, providing direct support to Dr. Brian and his team to enhance the overall patient experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a genuine passion for healthcare. Responsibilities: Patient Care & Support: • Escort patients to examination rooms., • Check in/check out patients in Reception Area., • Provide patient education, including but not limited to pre- and post-operative instructions, medications, and treatment plans., • Handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating complex issues to the appropriate personnelAdministrative & Clinical Support:, • Manage patient flow and ensure efficient scheduling and room utilization., • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient correspondence., • Learn EHR and other software utilized by the practice., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EHR., • Process prescription medications and refills, • Assist with managing inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels., • Assist with insurance pre-authorization processes and provide superbills to patients,, • Assist with record releases for patients, • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality, • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions., • Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned by the practice leadership.Qualifications:, • Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university., • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Minimum: Associates degree and high school diploma., • Demonstrated intelligence, common sense, and critical thinking skills with the ability to learn quickly and apply new information effectively., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with patients, physicians, and staff., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively., • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards., • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude., • Bilingual is a plus, • Intelligent and resourceful with a proactive approach to problem-solving., • Compassionate and empathetic with a genuine desire to provide exceptional patient care., • Professional demeanor and appearance., • Highly motivated and eager to learn and grow within the practice., • Adaptable and flexible to changing needs and responsibilities.
