Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Event Sales Manager to lead and grow our events business at our upscale restaurant in New York City. This role is perfect for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment and has a passion for building relationships, creating memorable experiences, and driving revenue through private events, catering, and special functions. The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process for events, working closely with the culinary and operations teams to deliver exceptional experiences for clients and guests. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate private dining, catering, and special event business., • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with corporate, social, and private clients., • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and client consultations to contract negotiation and event execution., • Work closely with culinary, service, and operations teams to plan and execute flawless events., • Ensure all client expectations, budgets, and specifications are met or exceeded., • Oversee event timelines, floor plans, and logistics to ensure smooth operations., • Track and report on event sales, revenue, and key performance metrics., • Prepare proposals, contracts, and budgets for client events., • Maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business., • Provide exceptional client service, anticipating needs and delivering personalized solutions., • Represent the restaurant at networking events and industry functions to increase brand visibility. Qualifications • 3+ years of event sales or catering management experience, preferably in upscale restaurants, hotels, or hospitality environments., • Proven ability to drive revenue through successful sales and client relationship management., • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills., • Experience creating proposals, managing budgets, and overseeing event logistics., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment., • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and event management software preferred.
