Responsibilities: • Oversee all back-of-house operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen., • Recruit, train, and develop culinary staff while fostering a positive, team-focused environment., • Implement new menu items, policies, and procedures, ensuring strict recipe adherence and top-tier food quality., • Manage ordering, inventory, scheduling, and strong communication between front and back of house., • Modernize the menu through from-scratch quarterly specials and innovative culinary updates. Compensation and Benefits: • Salary: up to $125,000, • Bonus Potential, • Medical Insurance with 80% covered by the company, • Dental Insurance with 80% covered by the company, • Paid Time Off, • 401(k) Qualifications: • Minimum of 5+ years current experience as an Executive Chef in an upscale or Fine Dining restaurant; steakhouse background strongly preferred, • Culinary Degree is required for this position, • High volume background - must have Executive Chef experience in establishments doing over $8-10 million in sales per year, • Bilingual in Spanish a plus, • Ability to maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene, • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, • Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed, • Executive Chef candidates must be proficient with financials (P&L's, inventory, food/labor cost, etc.), • Previous experience with menu writing and costingCompany DescriptionSince 2000, Gecko Hospitality and its dedicated Franchise Partners and Recruiters throughout the United States have been pioneers in the hospitality recruiting industry.
