Position Summary The Restaurant Manager at WAKUDA is a hands-on hospitality leader responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations and ensuring that the highest standards of service, professionalism, and guest experience are consistently upheld. Operational Excellence • Oversee service flow, reservations, seating strategy, and overall dining room efficiency., • Ensure all opening, closing, and side-work procedures are completed to standard., • Maintain elevated standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout all guest-facing areas., • Collaborate closely with culinary and beverage teams to ensure synchronized execution during service., • Support implementation and enforcement of company SOPs and Forbes-level service standards. Leadership & Team Development • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop front-of-house team members., • Lead pre-shift meetings focused on service standards, menu knowledge, and operational priorities., • Foster a culture rooted in accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality excellence., • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to elevate service execution., • Ensure proper grooming, punctuality, and adherence to brand standards. Financial Performance & Business Operations • Support achievement of revenue goals through strong floor leadership and guest engagement., • Monitor labor productivity and staffing levels based on business demand., • Assist in managing operational expenses and controlling waste., • Drive beverage and menu knowledge initiatives that support check average growth and guest satisfaction., • Collaborate with leadership on forecasting, scheduling, and operational planning. Brand Standards & Culture • Serve as a brand ambassador for WAKUDA, embodying professionalism, composure, and luxury hospitality standards., • Uphold and reinforce the restaurant's service philosophy and guest experience expectations., • Support special events, VIP activations, and collaborative brand initiatives., • Maintain a calm, solutions-oriented approach during high-pressure service periods. Qualifications & Experience Required • Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or upscale restaurant environments., • Strong knowledge of elevated service standards and dining room operations., • Proven leadership ability within high-volume, guest-focused environments., • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills., • Ability to lead calmly and decisively during service., • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred • Experience within Japanese fine dining or chef-driven concepts., • Wine, sake, or luxury beverage knowledge., • Forbes, Michelin, or luxury hotel service background., • Experience managing within Las Vegas luxury hospitality environments.
