Job Description Mattydale Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate Office Manager to join our privately owned practice. We are a close-knit team that values collaboration, respect, and exceptional patient and client care. We are looking for a leader who is not only organized and dependable, but also willing to be an active member to our team. Responsibilities include : 1. providing strong, positive leadership while fostering a supportive team environment • managing daily hospital operations and staff scheduling to ensure each department is appropriately staffed based on patient and client needs, • assisting with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management, • managing payroll and other administrative responsibilities, • promoting teamwork, communication, and a positive workplace culture, • working alonside the veterinary team as needed and be willing to cross train in all areas of the hospital, including veterinary assistant, • helping identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and patient care Qualifications: previous veterinary experience or management experience required • proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and support a team, • excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving abilities, • ability to remain calm, confident, and effective in stressful or fast paced situations, • experience with payroll, staff training, and employee development preferred, • experience with Cornerstone Practice Management software preferred, • willing ness to learn all aspects of hospital operations and work collaboratively with every department At Mattydale Animal Hospital, we believe that great leaders work alongside their team.
