Job Description Job Title: Server Employer: Delbar Middle Eastern - Buckhead Department: Front of House (FOH) Summary: The Server provides exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a warm, professional, and efficient manner. This role ensures guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering attentive service and expert knowledge of menu offerings. Key Responsibilities: • Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating when needed., • Present menus and wine lists, guiding guests through menu options and answering questions about food and beverages., • Take accurate food and beverage orders courteously, addressing special requests and allergy concerns., • Serve wine and champagne professionally, including opening and pouring as required., • Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system and communicate special requests to the kitchen., • Maintain knowledge of and adhere strictly to state liquor laws, verifying patrons’ legal drinking age when necessary., • Ensure food orders are accurate, visually appealing, and delivered promptly to guests., • Refill beverages proactively and monitor guest needs throughout their visit., • Offer dessert options, take orders, and deliver desserts in a timely manner., • Present guest checks, handle payment transactions, and provide accurate change and receipts., • Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area., • Stay knowledgeable about all menu offerings, including preparation methods, ingredients, portion sizes, and presentation., • Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and organization., • Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly, escalating to management when necessary., • Answer phone calls courteously and provide assistance or redirect inquiries appropriately., • Support teammates by assisting with tasks to ensure smooth service for all guests., • Complete required paperwork and maintain organized records.Qualifications:, • Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in a fine dining restaurant setting preferred., • Liquor Law Knowledge: Familiarity with state liquor regulations and the ability to identify when guests have reached their alcohol limit., • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences., • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Adaptability: Flexible and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic setting with constantly changing priorities., • Professionalism: Maintains a polished appearance and conducts themselves with respect and tact., • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills; multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus., • Team Player: Works well with others to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.Competencies:, • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves issues efficiently; develops creative solutions., • Customer Service: Manages challenging situations professionally and meets guest needs promptly., • Interpersonal Skills: Listens actively, communicates effectively, and maintains composure in high-pressure situations., • Teamwork: Balances individual responsibilities with team success; builds morale and fosters collaboration., • Professionalism: Treats guests and coworkers with respect, reacts well under pressure, and takes responsibility for actions., • Adaptability: Responds effectively to unexpected situations or changes in the work environment.
